Mega Man

Updated on October 14, 2017

The Original Mega Man

This is the game that started it all. Mega Man is is this robot created by Dr. Light, who is out to defeat the once good/ no evil Dr. Wily and his robot masters. Mega Man is about to not only use his weapon, but also make use of any robot master weapon he had defeated and this was a first for Capcom. When they released Mega Man back in 1987, they've changed the whole world of 2D platform gaming as we have known it. This Mega Man was probably considered to be the hardest to defeat, but at least you had fun doing it. Till this day, there are some gamers are having trouble defeating the legendary game. But here are the robot masters that made this game so hard to complete and how to take them down one by one.

Cut Man

There are two ways to defeat the first robot master, but at this point in the game, you could only do with your Mega Buster. All you have to do is dodge his weapon, run over him while he’s jumping and hit him whenever chance that you get with your weapon. Defeat him will give you his Rolling Cutter weapon.

Elec Man

Elec Man can be deadly with his weapon as it can take your down in just a few shots. So why not take him down with a few shots of your Rolling Cutter. Doing that will give you his Thunder Beam weapon.

He may be cutest bad guy, but he can be the most dangerous one as well. You can take him down with the Thunder Beam weapon. Doing so will grant you his Ice Slasher weapon.

When it comes to squaring off against Fire Man, it’s all about basic logics and what can put out fire. So using the Ice Slasher will give you no problem in defeating that robot master and will give you his Fire Storm weapon.

Bomb Man

This robot master can’t stay in one place throwing his bombs at you. So you’re going to have to put him in his place and by doing so is by using your Fire Storm weapon. Once he’s gone, you’ll have his Hyper Bomb weapon.

Guts Man

This robot master is the hugest one out of the eight, but don’t let that intimidate you at all. With the help of your trusty Hyper Bomb, he’s good as gone. In the end, you’ll receive his Super Arm weapon for all of your troubles.

Rock Monster

He even more massive than Guts Man, but again he's no real threat. There's a tricky was where you can defeat him. As you are using your Thunder Beam on him, use the pause button to pause it as it hits him. It will take his energy down to nothing as this battle will be over within seconds.

This clone can be a pain if you don't know how to defeat it. But there's yet again another pause trick to this. Use either your Fire Storm or Thunder Beam and then pause as it hits him. Your battle should be over in no time.

Bubbles

For this boss, you’ll have fight a couple of bubble machines. You would need to fire your Mega Buster for the first couple of bubbles. When it comes down to the last 4, then switch it to your Super Arm and through the rocks at the bubbles.

Dr. Wily

In the first Mega Man, Wily as two forms. For the first form, he’s weak against your Fire Storm. For the second form, you’ll have to use either your Thunder Beam or Rolling Cutter.
