Mega Man IV for Game Boy
Mega Man IV
Mega Man IV is the fourth installment to the Mega Man franchise for the Nintendo Gameboy and it differs from the fourth installment of the NES version for it features four boss robots from Mega Man IV NES and four from Mega Man V NES. They also have a new boss added to the game and the franchise called Ballade. But I'm going to show you how to easily defeat each boss without any hassle at all. Also, you would want to take on these bosses in the following order that I'm going to show you.
Toad Man
All you have to do with him is to use your regular mega blaster. He’s going to jump after you him so dodge his jump and do it again. Repeat the process and you’ll defeat him with ease and you’ll receive his Rain Flush weapon.
Bright Man
With Bright Man, all you have to do is use your Rain Flush weapon and dodge his jumps. He might use his freeze weapon to freeze you. Just jump up in the air when he does so and you should be fine. Defeat him will give you’ll receive his Flash Stopper.
Pharaoh Man
Pharaoh Man is one of the easier bosses. With him, all you have to do is use the Flash Stopper. When he freezes, go in after him. Once he unfreezes, repeat the same process and once it’s done, you’ll receive his Pharaoh Shot.
Ring Man
There are two ways to defeat Ring Man. When charging your Pharaoh Shot, you could make him land on the shot while it’s charging as he jumps. If you don’t feel comfortable with that the just attack him head on with the Pharaoh Shot instead. Defeating him will give you the Ring Boomerang.
Crystal Man
This boss is a bit harder than the others because none of the weapons that you have currently will take effect to him. So your best bet is to charge up your Mega Buster and use it as much as possible. Doing so and avoiding his attacks will grant you his Crystal Eye weapon.
Napalm Man
For him, you’re going to have to use the Crystal Eye weapon. The good thing about this weapon is when you shoot it against the wall, the Crystal Eye will split into four smaller Crystal Eyes. You’ll get his Napalm Bomb weapon for all your troubles.
Stone Man
The pattern to Stone Man is this, as soon as you jump over his stones throw a Napalm Bomb towards him. Your timing has to be right as soon as he’s not doing anything. Finish him off will give you his Power Stone weapon.
Charge Man
Charge Man has to ways to be defeated. Hit him with a Power Stone either when he’s not flashing or charging. Try jumping over him as well. Doing all of that will get you the Charge Kick weapon.
Ballade
This will be the first time that you’ll be facing this boss, but he’s not that hard as well. When he’s not moving, just hit him with a fully charged Mega Buster. Once you’ve defeated him, then it’s off to go against the four other robot bosses.
Ballade - Part Two
You can defeat him two different ways now. Either defeat him with a charged up Mega Buster or using the Pharaoh Shot. Beating him will get you his Ballade Cracker weapon.
Dr. Wily
Before Dr. Wily, you’ll have to defeat all of the previous eight robot bosses once more. Just use the same patterns you’ve used and you’re on your way to Wily. He comes in three different forms. With the first form, use the Power Stone to hit the core. In his second form, use the Ballade Cracker when it’s mouth is open. As for the final form, once it’s visible, use with either the Ballade Cracker or Pharaoh Shot.
